BT Investment Management
BT Investment Management is a publically listed specialist investment manager with a history of managing and creating wealth for clients for over 45 years. Matter was engaged to redesign the BTIM corporate website with improvements in the user experience, in-depth information and current data, online application forms and integrated marketing systems. The site is built with the Wordpress content management system and is coded to meet OWASP standards for optimal online security.
User Centric Design
In our strategic planning stage Matter Design hosted workshops with key stakeholders to better understand the types of users we would be using the website. The UX design was structured around three key user groups and the website was built with a Marketo/Salesforce integration to learn about individual users and deliver relevant content to them throughout the website. The result is that users see articles that will be of interest to them and at the right point we prompt them to take action by contacting the relevant person to speak to about a product, or prompt them with the name, image and contact details of someone they have already spoken with.
To provide quick access to relevant investment options a smart product search with suggested search options gives the user access to a specific product or products related to an investment type. Up to date product data is sourced into the database with data feeds to ensure users have access to the latest unit prices and financial information, and the process of investing is made easier through the online application form.
